About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Therapist to join our team at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing critical care services to patients with respiratory insufficiencies. Your primary duties will include:

  • Delivering and assessing responses to ordered therapy per plan of care
  • Measuring ventilator volumes, pressures, and blood gas analysis
  • Monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition and general acceptance of treatment
  • Performing a variety of duties related to setting up, operating, cleaning, sterilizing, and storing respiratory therapy equipment

Requirements

To qualify for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field
  • Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • At least 1 year of experience in respiratory care, preferably in an acute care setting

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of $64,500 - $89,900 per year, based on experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
