Elementary School Behavior Support Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join our team, working with elementary school students (K-5) to support their behavioral and educational needs in Arlington, MA.
This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about helping students thrive in a structured, supportive environment.
- The ideal candidate will implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and provide direct one-on-one behavioral support to students, focusing on social, academic, and life skills improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing BIPs and providing direct support under the guidance of a BCBA.
- Collecting and analyzing data on student behavior and progress for accurate documentation.
- Maintaining a positive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.
- Collaborating with teachers, school staff, and families for consistent support across environments.
- Following ethical and professional standards as set by the BACB.
Requirements:
- Registered Behavior Technician certification required.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, especially in a school setting, is preferred.
- A strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Patience, flexibility, and passion for working with children with diverse learning and behavioral needs.
- High school diploma required; additional certifications or college education related to behavior analysis or education is a plus.
Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 per year based on experience. Benefits include competitive pay, ongoing professional development opportunities, and a supportive, collaborative work environment.
