Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Project Manager to coordinate and communicate with ITD management and staff to coordinate work tasks and resourcing.

The selected candidate will be responsible for communicating timelines and expectations to technical and business staff, collaborating with stakeholders to understand project requirements and support data management needs.

Key responsibilities include ensuring data is collected, stored, and processed securely and in compliance with all applicable regulations, managing and maintaining the cloud infrastructure and software systems, and ensuring the platform is reliable, scalable, and secure.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable capability and experience in planning, implementing, and maintenance of local master data systems and processes across business units and functions.

Requirements:

The candidate must have a minimum of 8 years' experience managing large projects and a bachelor's degree.

Experience managing cloud-based solutions for data management and analytics is required.

Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and software systems, including Azure and Google Cloud, is necessary.

Experience with data processing and storage tools, such as Spark, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Event Hub, Azure SQL, and Synapse, is also required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in IT Infrastructure delivery, including networking, physical plant, vendor management, and site provisioning, is preferred.

Experience managing large, multi-stream projects and experience in both Agile and Waterfall project management are also preferred.
