Industrial Machinist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Industrial Machinist - Welding Specialist to join our team at Black & Decker (U.S.) Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for operating automatic blanking, heat treat forming, and robotic TIG welding of various size hole saws.

About the Job:
As an Industrial Machinist - Welding Specialist, you will perform duties involved in setting up and operating equipment, visually inspecting each saw for quality of weld, positioning welding heads, and changing tungsten tips as required. You will also check the quality of each hole saw for total roundness, weld height, and weld penetration, degrease cups when necessary, and record data according to established procedures. Additionally, you will maintain equipment and work areas in a neat and clean condition, report any discrepancies or equipment malfunctions, and observe and obey all safety rules, regulations, and practices.

Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate automatic blanking, heat treat forming, and robotic TIG welding equipment
• Visually inspect each saw for quality of weld
• Position welding heads and change tungsten tips as required
• Check the quality of each hole saw for total roundness, weld height, and weld penetration
• Degrease cups when necessary and record data according to established procedures
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a neat and clean condition
• Report any discrepancies or equipment malfunctions
• Observe and obey all safety rules, regulations, and practices
