Blood Cancer Specialist Physician Opportunity in Southeast New Mexico

We are seeking a board-certified Hematology/Oncology physician to join our team at Healthcare United in Southeast New Mexico. Job SummaryThe selected candidate will work as part of a multi-specialty group, collaborating with experienced healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing and treating cancer, solid tumors, and blood disorders, with a focus on providing compassionate and personalized care.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat cancer, solid tumors, and benign and malignant blood disorders in both in-patient and out-patient settings
- Write and administer chemotherapy orders, perform bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures, and review smears and refer patients for radiation oncology and surgery services as needed
- Evaluate oncology emergencies and treatment-related complications, deliver chemo-infusion, and provide consultation services to other healthcare professionals
