Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Captain to join our team at Grupo Mantra. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of banquets and events, providing exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure that all preparations are carried out according to the posted Catering order
* Know the menu items and coordinate serving times of each course according to the Banquet Event Order
* Supervise Waithelp during set-up, service, and breakdown
* Assign stations, side duties, and set-up tasks to Waithelp
* Communicate with guests during the function and attend to their general needs and special requests
* Direct pre-function employee meetings
* Carry out established opening and closing procedures
* Tabulate banquet checks for presentation to guests and collect payments

Requirements:

* Four years Banquet Waithelp experience and some Banquet Porter experience
* High School Diploma
* Manager Liquor Card
* Ability to be a leader
* Knowledgeable of all aspects of Food & Beverage service
