SolarEdge Product Manager

SolarEdge is a global leader in high-performance smart energy technology. We are seeking a Sr. Product Manager to define regional requirements for our products in the Community Commercial and Industrial segments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting those requirements to product management and R&D, and orchestrating the resultant product launch within the region. They will also identify applications and markets for our products in the region and work with our customers to promote our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Definition of new product and feature requirements in the North America CCI Segment for Monitoring and Controls of Solar Storage building loads.
- Product launch plan and management of the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
- Track and monitor competitive activity in the industry and develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market.
- Sales enablement and communication of the value proposition of our products to the sales team.
- Educate and develop account management staff and coach and motivate account group leaders to effectively develop and motivate their direct reports.
Requirements:
- BS in Engineering or equivalent required.
- 5-10 years experience in the solar or storage industry working in Product Management or Technical Marketing roles.
- Experience working with software and controls for renewable energy projects.
- Experience in product management or applications support for energy storage products and projects.
- Electric power industry domain experience with demonstrated understanding of renewable energy operations.
- Excellent industry knowledge of competition market trends in the renewable energy industry with focus on integration of PV energy storage EV charging and building loads.
- Knowledge of NEC and regulatory codes for PV and Storage installations.
- Strong communication skills including listening and handling objections and complex discussions with Product Management Team.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Strong time and project management skills to proactively build trust and confidence as a remote employee.
- Product launch and business development experience required.
- Experience in cybersecurity is a plus.
