Job Summary
The Healthcare Rehabilitation Specialist at TLC NURSING SERVICES plans, organizes, and provides professional services in restorative, functional, and preventative therapeutic programs to patients. Clinical practice includes evaluation and occupational therapy treatment planning to facilitate rehabilitation of the mental, physical, or emotional disabled person.
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist PRN to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with patients and their families to establish and meet treatment goals. Your expertise will play a crucial part in helping individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Implement and oversee occupational therapy interventions
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to set realistic expectations and monitor progress
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
