Administrative Supervisor for Economic Assistance and Employment Supports Division

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Supervisor to oversee the office and administrative functions of the Economic Assistance and Employment Supports Division (EAESD) within the Family Well-Being Administration. This is a hybrid position requiring the incumbent to be on-site at our downtown St. Paul office 1-2 days per week.
About the Role:This role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing business structures, processes, and staff resources for the division's office and administrative support section. You will also provide cross-division support related to personnel, financial operations, and facilities management, as well as serve as the division business continuity planner.

- Serve as the division business continuity planner, requiring a deep understanding of the work of the division and ongoing communication with division program managers/supervisors
To succeed in this role, you must have one year of administrative and/or technical support experience in an office setting, demonstrating your ability to analyze, manage, and coordinate workflow, direct and guide employees, manage office supply and technology budgets, and modify office/operations work methods and improve work procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:- Strong communication and public relations skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships with staff, colleagues, customers, local agencies, vendors, etc.
- Conflict management and ability to bring people/team(s) together through open communication, respectful dialogue, and discourse
- Experience in bookkeeping and budgeting, with the ability to understand basic-level accounting
- Experience in purchasing, tracking, and following up with vendors on payments
- Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures

Estimated Salary:$54,329 - $78,508 annually
The estimated salary range is based on the title, job description, and location of this position. The actual salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
