Job Summary:

The Energy Management Technician II will be responsible for maintaining and operating the district's energy management systems, ensuring optimal energy efficiency and reducing energy consumption. This role will work closely with the Energy Management team to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair energy management systems, including HVAC, lighting, and building automation systems.
  • Conduct energy audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement energy-saving measures, such as lighting retrofits and HVAC upgrades.
  • Collaborate with the Energy Management team to develop and implement energy conservation plans.
  • Monitor and analyze energy usage data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and five years of related experience.
  • Certification required by Automated Logic or other control manufacturer within one year of employment.
  • Must meet district vehicle liability policy requirements and maintain a valid Texas driver's license.

Working Conditions:

This position will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities. The Energy Management Technician II will be required to work at various district locations and may be required to work overtime during peak periods.
