About the Role:

Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union is seeking a skilled System Support Technician I to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our employees and members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary point of contact for all incoming calls, instant messages, and emails to the IT Department.
  • Address assigned Help Desk requests within a reasonable amount of time, with either a resolution of the issue or an escalation of the request.
  • Process computer equipment service calls or repairs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on PCs, printers, scanners, and card machines.
  • Build and image new personal computers.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area.
  • Follow all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Represent the Credit Union in a professional manner.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Work cooperatively with others.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Information Technology or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 year previous Help Desk experience preferred.
  • Related technical certifications in CompTIA A+ certification is preferred.
