Job Summary

The Assistant Service Manager/Advisor is a key role in ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction at Garavel Subaru. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage customer interactions and service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise time, mileage, and maintenance to customers
  • Service vehicles quickly and efficiently
  • Maintain high customer loyalty through excellent communication and follow-up
Essential Duties
  • Service vehicles, completing the main customer concern before any additional services
  • Schedule appointments with customers and greet them upon arrival
  • Document customer's service concerns and suggest regularly scheduled maintenance
  • Dispatch work to a designated team of technicians and communicate results of the multi-point inspection to customers
  • Get necessary customer/warranty work approvals and invoice tickets with proper legal verbiage
  • Regularly update customers on the status of their repairs and follow up individually with customers post-service
Requirements/Experience
  • Ability to follow a process and work independently
  • Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus, but not required
  • Friendly personality and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
Physical Demands
  • Stand or sit for longer periods and walk the dealership lot and showroom floor
  • Move frequently in and out of vehicles and bend, squat, or climb stairs occasionally
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
