RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Plainview, NY.

We offer a competitive salary range of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits.

Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in the preparation, dispensing, and packaging of medications for long-term care patients. You will work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment, maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Fill and package medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure proper labeling of all medication containers.
  • Use manual or mechanical processes to measure, fill, and dispense medications.
  • Stay informed about medication names, terms, and general pharmacy terminology.
  • Follow state and federal guidelines regarding drug dispensing and pharmacy operations.
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking medications as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in retail or Long-Term Care settings.
  • Software Knowledge: Familiarity with QS1 Prime Rx and Doctrack is a plus.
Work Schedule and Location

Shifts are Monday - Friday with rotating weekends, available in the hours of 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM. The position is located in Plainview, NY.
