Job Description

Patient Care Support Role

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Support Specialist to perform assigned duties and provide support to professional personnel in delivering care to hospitalized patients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical care to selected patients, including dressing changes, taking vital signs, and giving enemas, while recording care given on designated forms.
  • Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge process as assigned, providing postmortem care and preparing patients for examinations/tests/procedures.
  • Carry out infection control protocols and maintain standard precautions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, including preparing patients for meals and assisting with feeding.
  • Respond to patient call bells and requests.
  • Provide direct care to patients across various age groups: Geriatrics, middle adult, and young adult.

Requirements

  • Graduation from elementary school.
  • Successful completion of a basic skills training program for Nurse Aides or its equivalent.
