Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Department Coordinator to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and maintaining a clean and organized store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing of merchandise
  • Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles
  • Communicate with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor
  • Monitor productivity of team and coach as necessary
  • Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment
  • Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards

Requirements:

  • 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience
  • Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Capable of multi-tasking and responding to changes in direction or unexpected situations
  • Team player with ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors

Starting Pay Range: $16.00 to $16.50 per hour
