Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and spiritually gifted individual to lead our worship services. As a Lead Catholic Worship Minister, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing high-quality worship experiences that engage and inspire our community.

You will work closely with our Command Chaplain to develop and implement worship programs that meet the spiritual needs of our personnel and their families. This includes leading Masses, conducting sacraments, providing spiritual guidance, and promoting community-building fellowship events.

  • Plan and lead weekly Masses, including Sunday and weekday services, as well as special occasions like Holy Days of Obligation and Advent Services.
  • Conduct sacraments, such as Baptism, Anointing of the Sick, and Funeral/Memorial Services, as required.
  • Provide spiritual guidance and counseling to individuals and groups, focusing on spiritual formation, marriage preparation, and personal growth.
  • Develop and implement educational programs, including RCIA, scripture study sessions, and CCD programs, under the guidance of the Command Chaplain.
  • Foster a sense of community through various fellowship events and activities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of two years of experience as an ordained Roman Catholic priest with a strong background in worship leadership and sacramental ministry.
  • The ability to obtain Confidential Security Clearance at a minimum.
