The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center is seeking a highly qualified Professor to join our faculty. We are looking for an individual who can contribute to our research and teaching mission, with a focus on cancer and diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead an extramurally funded research program in biochemistry
  • Teach medical and graduate students in biochemistry and related fields
  • Contribute to the department's research and teaching efforts

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a scientific field
  • Expertise in biochemistry and molecular biology
  • Strong research and teaching background

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in animal models and developmental biology
  • Special emphasis in pancreatic and/or prostate cancer research
