Job Title: Surgical Specialties Nurse

Job Summary:

Boone Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Specialties Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our inpatient surgical unit, you will provide direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.

Responsibilities:
  • Educate patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post-treatment home care needs and medication administration.
  • Use critical thinking skills to assess and evaluate patient's physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement individual plans of care in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team in accordance with the established guidelines and standards of nursing care.
  • Evaluate patient's response and modify plan of care accordingly throughout the patient's stay.
  • Participate in activities that promote safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in professional development and lifelong learning.

Requirements:
  • Degree: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Experience: No Experience
  • Supervisor Experience: No Experience
  • License: RN

Work Environment:
Rotating Schedule (United States of America)
