We are seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Reporting Expert to join our team at BCforward. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your advanced leadership skills and technical expertise in financial reporting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of annual and quarterly financial reports, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, SEC, and other regulatory requirements. They will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to assess financial reporting information, prepare supporting schedules and documents, and draft financial statement footnotes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of financial reports, including annual and quarterly statements
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including US GAAP and SEC guidelines
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to gather financial data and information
  • Prepare supporting schedules and documents for financial reports
  • Draft financial statement footnotes and other disclosure requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial reporting, fund administration, accounting, and/or custody
  • Proven track record of leading financial reporting teams and managing complex projects
  • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial reporting standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Benefits:

We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $95,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits program includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
