Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at ECHN. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for physician examinations and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Assist with administrative and clinical duties, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and performing various medical procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced medical environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and efficient office operations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant certification or experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and detailed medical records, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight, with sufficient physical ability to work in an office setting.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to float to other offices as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a medical facility or healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
  • Strong computer and keyboarding skills, with the ability to navigate electronic medical records and other software applications.
