We are looking for an experienced chemist with strong data management skills to prepare analytical chemistry for loading into a database. If you have a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and 5+ years of related work experience in managing analytical data, we would love to hear from you

  • We offer a competitive salary of $45-$60 per hour, paid on a weekly basis, for a 1-year contract with potential for extension.
  • The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, as a hybrid opportunity.

In this role, you will be responsible for extracting and transforming analytical chemistry data from public sources into spreadsheet templates that are loaded by others into a database. You will need a thorough knowledge of analytical chemistry data and methods to accurately extract and transform source data in preparation for database assimilation.

  • You will also provide technical knowledge of analytical chemistry data and methods to support the data management team and coordinate activities with data source subject matter experts to ensure integration, data integrity, and data quality.

What you bring to Astrix Inc:

  • A BS in Chemistry.
  • 5+ years of related work experience in management of analytical data.
