Rigging Specialist

MarineMax is seeking a skilled Rigging Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repairs and rigging of boats and trailers. Key responsibilities include preparing boats for presentation and delivery, properly attaching components to boats and trailers, and ensuring all warranty work is completed according to MarineMax guidelines. The ideal candidate will have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and participating in boat shows and other promotional events. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Prepare boats for presentation and delivery
* Properly attach components to boats and trailers
* Ensure all warranty work is completed according to MarineMax guidelines
* Troubleshoot and verify working order of electronics system
* Perform light duty tasks such as changing oil filters, general service and warranty repairs
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Participate in boat shows and other promotional events

**Requirements:**

* 2+ years of experience in marine equipment installation and repair
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
