We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Orthopedics to join our team at Memorial Hospital Belleville. As a key member of our interprofessional team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of excellence in healthcare.

About the Position

This is a full-time opportunity with flexible scheduling options available. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.\
  • Promote patient and family-centered care in a healing environment.\
  • Develop and implement individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and patient, family, or caregiver.\
  • Use critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care.\
  • Assess patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including their values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population-specific needs.\
  • BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.\
  • The estimated salary for this role is around $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.\
  • We offer a competitive pay rate, up to $15,000 sign-on bonus, and a BSN differential.\
  • You will also be eligible for benefits such as comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, pension plan, 401(k) plan with BJC match, tuition assistance, and more.\

    • This role requires no prior experience, but a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.\
    • No supervisor experience is required, but a Registered Nurse (RN) license is necessary.\
    • A BSN degree and ortho experience are highly desirable.\
