Job Description: As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Northern Light Health, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care under the direction of nursing staff. Your responsibilities will include assisting patients with daily activities, such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, and transferring them safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Precept new team members on job functions and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Orient patients to hospital environment and routine, ensuring a smooth transition to our care.
  • Participate in unit quality improvement initiatives and contribute to creating a positive work environment.
  • Document patient care information accurately and in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications: We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is necessary.
