About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team at Giving Home Health Care. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing the reception area, and assisting with various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and Assisting Visitors: Greet and assist all incoming visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Phone and Mail Management: Answer phones promptly and courteously, manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages, and maintain a high level of organization in the reception area.
  • Office Supply Management: Manage office, snack, and durable medical equipment supply levels to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Multitasking: Multitask at a high level to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Vendor Relationships: Maintain positive relationships with outside vendors and suppliers.
  • Office Projects: Assist with office projects as needed, including organizing patient and employee appreciation events and items.
  • Technology Support: Maintain and support phone and technology solutions, including electronic fax distributions.
  • Facility Work Orders: Manage facility work orders and ensure timely completion.
  • Meeting Minutes: Scribe meeting minutes and maintain accurate records.
  • Departmental Support: Work with various departments on varying needs and provide exceptional support.

Qualifications:

  • Phone Experience: Multiline phone experience and excellent communication skills.
  • Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft products (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) and PDF.
  • Personality: Outgoing and warm personality, with a helpful, mindful, and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Communication: Effective communication and follow-through with different teams and departments.
  • Relationships: Maintain a positive relationship with peers, patients, providers, vendors, and caregivers.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work tasks.
  • Time Management: Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Reading, Writing, and Communication: Excellent reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Must have great interpersonal skills and be a team player.
  • Value System: Must have a strong value system, exhibit loyalty, and interest in making a difference behind the scenes for our patients and their families.
