CNC Machinist

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team at Chamberlain Machine, a leading manufacturer of high-precision CNC machining solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, and operating CNC lathes or mills, with a strong focus on efficiency and productivity.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Setup and operate CNC machining centers using FANUC controls and MasterCam software.
• Identify and execute improvement opportunities in programming, manufacturing methods, tooling, and fixturing.
• Work with colleagues to optimize manufacturing capabilities and production schedules.
• Assist with inspection and validation using basic inspection equipment.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of machine code and work holding processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in CNC machining.
• Extensive familiarity with FANUC controls and MasterCam software.
• Excellent knowledge of tooling selection and inspection of high-value precision parts.
• Ability to apply problem-solving skills and common sense to complex machining tasks.
• Strong math skills and ability to interpret engineering drawings/blueprints.
