Job Overview:

As a Retail Floor Leader with Margaritaville, you will play a key role in maintaining a high degree of guest and Staff Member satisfaction while assisting with day-to-day operation of retail venue by performing the following duties:

Job Description:

  • Manage retail floor operations to ensure efficient guest experience.
  • Ensure highest quality product reaches our guests and meets specifications.
  • Conduct daily shift meetings to discuss key performance indicators and set goals for the day.
  • Assist in training new Staff Members within the department to ensure they have the necessary skills to succeed.
  • Assist management with motivating, developing, coaching, and counseling Staff Members to ensure the proper level of service is being provided to guests.
  • Notify management of low inventory and recommend new inventory to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Responsible for reporting any Staff Member issues to management, such as performance or conduct problems.
  • Assist management with opening and closing responsibilities, including counting tills and ensuring the store is secure.
  • Assist with receiving of merchandise deliveries and stocking of the sales floor to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
  • Ensure inventory controls are followed to manage retail shrinkage and swelling.
  • Consistently maintain the merchandise and visual plan, including merchandising displays and signage.
  • Assist with maintaining store standards, including stocking, cleaning, and folding.
  • Ensure all productivity and quality standards are maintained, including sales targets and customer service levels.
  • Maintain high-level knowledge regarding the company's products and happenings, and communicate properly to guests, establishing rapport with all guests through name recognition.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or determined by management, and move with a sense of urgency to meet business objectives.
  • Adhere to responsible alcohol service established by company policy, and understand and utilize all safety and sanitation practices as defined in the safety program.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures as established in the Staff Member Handbook.
    • Estimated annual salary range: $60,000 - $80,000.
    • One to two years retail experience is required, with supervisory or management experience preferred.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to interact professionally with other departments and outside contacts.
    • Ability to complete a heavy workload and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision is required.
    • Good judgment and decision-making abilities are necessary for success in this role.
    • Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, are preferred.

Skills/Experience:

  • Retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to maintain high-level knowledge regarding the company's products and happenings.
  • Ability to establish rapport with all guests through name recognition.
