Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

Location: TX

Shift: 12-Hour Day Shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week

Salary Range: $34 - $55 per hour (based on experience)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Cath Lab RN, you will play a critical role in patient care, assisting in a variety of cardiac procedures including catheterizations, pacemaker implantations, and diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. You will work closely with the healthcare team to deliver safe, high-quality care while ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct clinical assessments of patients before, during, and after cardiac procedures, identifying patient needs and developing individualized care plans.
  • Assist physicians in the Cath Lab with procedures, ensuring proper monitoring of patients' ECGs, vital signs, and overall well-being.
  • Implement and modify patient care plans as needed, based on clinical outcomes and patient responses.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and patient safety.
  • Provide post-procedural care, including patient education and discharge instructions.
  • Maintain a sterile environment, adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice changes.
  • Document patient care and procedural details accurately in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current, valid RN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with prior experience in a Cath Lab setting preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
