We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Distribution Designer to join our team at ASRC Federal Holding Company. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding mathematics and IT abilities, with a strong background in telecommunications and building technologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing site visits for data collection and evaluation of telecommunications and building technologies systems, equipment, components, and materials. They will also maintain Inside Plant cable infrastructure, develop EIPs required for installation of cable racks, and perform break fix on all Inside Plant cable infrastructure.

Additionally, the candidate will have knowledge of structured cabling systems from an installation and basic design perspective. A Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 3+ years of relevant experience as a RCDD are required. The ideal candidate will also have 3+ years of experience as a senior or lead RCDD in planning and designing cable infrastructure that supports the DoD environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Possesses outstanding mathematics and IT abilities.
  • Perform site visits for data collection and evaluation of telecommunications and building technologies systems, equipment, components, and materials.
  • Maintain Inside Plant cable infrastructure.
  • Develop EIPs required for installation of cable racks.
  • Perform break fix on all Inside Plant cable infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience as a RCDD.
  • 3+ years of experience as a senior or lead RCDD in planning and designing cable infrastructure that supports the DoD environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Registered Communications Distribution Designer certification.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
