Medical Assistant, Urology Specialist

About This Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to support our Urology department. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth clinical experience.
Responsibilities
- Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document symptoms
- Provide injections and immunizations as ordered by the provider
- Assist during medical procedures
- Track receipt of all results for ordered tests
- Perform POCT and quality controls
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Medical Assistant certificate required, or 5+ years of experience in lieu of certificate
- BLS Certification required
- At least one year of related medical assisting experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience
