Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Morning Service Associate/Transportation Coordinator to join our team at the Canterbury Hotel Group.

This is a full-time position that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our morning service team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving daily complimentary breakfast to hotel guests, while ensuring exceptional customer service standards are met.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve daily complimentary breakfast to hotel guests
  • Stock coffee, juice, and milk dispensers or machines
  • Set out and arrange food for self-service
  • Clear and clean tables as they are vacated
  • Wipe up spills
  • Remove trash
  • Wash dishes and serving equipment and return them to storage
  • Returns reusable food supplies to storage with proper dates on the product
  • Restock self-service food and supplies as needed
  • Maintain city, county, and state guidelines on food prep, storage, sanitation, and other items the inspector gives the hotel
  • Take inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day
  • Order food supplies
  • Provide guests with information, such as local attractions, events, and directions
  • Transport guests to and from the airport and other locations as requested
Requirements
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work long hours if needed
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Clean driving record required
  • Knowledge of surrounding areas and events
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy packages and luggage up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing for long periods
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when interacting with guests and colleagues.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is between $16.00-$16.25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include 401(k) matching, dental insurance, employee discount, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
