About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Data Engineer and Reporting Specialist to join our team. This role involves developing new reporting and dashboards, automating existing reporting, evaluating and validating CDM outputs, and performing quality assurance for the Credit Risk Analytics group and its stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement data-driven solutions to support business needs.
- Evaluate and validate CDM outputs to ensure accurate representation of data and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and document user needs.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL scripts to automate reporting and data processing.
- Analyze and resolve data quality issues to ensure seamless data flows.
- Support internal application programming changes and reporting process improvements.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering) or equivalent work experience.
- 7-10 years of experience in a financial services company as a data analyst, programmer, or database administrator.
- 5+ years of experience writing complex T-SQL.
- Prior experience migrating legacy SQL Server applications to Azure environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of compliance, audit, or quality assurance principles is desirable.
You should have working knowledge of distributed applications, including one or more of the following technologies: SQL Server 2016 and higher; ASP.NET, SSRS, SSIS, Power BI, and data visualization tools.
A robust understanding of banking product portfolios and their associated analytics is essential.
