Key Responsibilities
  • Cosmetic Reconditioning: Perform high-quality cosmetic reconditioning services on vehicles, including paint touch-up, wet sanding, and buffing.
  • Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections to identify defects and recommend repair methods in accordance with CarMax standards.
  • Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to CarMax's 5S standards.
  • Auction Support: Provide support during auctions by accurately identifying vehicle condition and recommending repairs.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in automotive restoration or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Skillset: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
