Job Opportunity:

Intermountain Health is seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN physician to support St. George Regional Hospital. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of obstetric practice experience beyond residency and be licensed to practice medicine in the State of Utah.

Responsibilities:

As an OB Hospitalist, you will be expected to maintain safety, quality of care, a positive culture, and growth of the program. Your primary responsibility will be to be immediately available to address any urgent or emergent need that should arise on the Labor and Delivery unit while on shift.

Requirements:

Formal training in electronic fetal monitoring interpretation and Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification are required. The ideal candidate will also have a strong commitment to quality care and a positive culture.

Location:

St. George Regional Hospital is a level II trauma center, recently expanding to 336 inpatient beds, with more than 320 physicians on staff, serving southern Utah, northern Arizona, and Nevada. The area is surrounded by multiple national parks and offers a favorable climate, golf courses, outdoor recreation opportunities, and a collegiate town environment.
