Tact Staff is seeking a highly skilled travel Respiratory Therapist to fill a 13-week assignment in Alpena, Michigan. As a travel Respiratory Therapist with Tact Staff, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, utilizing your skills and expertise to make a positive impact on patient care.

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings, including intensive care units, emergency departments, and medical-surgical units. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and perform various therapeutic modalities and diagnostic testing for and of the cardiopulmonary system
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide CPR and life support systems
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in critical care, ER, or Med/Surg
  • EKGs on Nights & Weekends, responds to Rapid Response alerts and Code Blues
  • Recent traveler experience highly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Critical Care, ER, Med/Surg experience
  • Current RRT & BLS - AHA certifications

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $85-$105 per hour, based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week. This figure may vary depending on individual qualifications and experience.
