PennState Health is seeking a highly skilled Paramedic to join our team in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Paramedic to provide advanced life support care on 911 emergency incidents and during transportation of patients.

Responsibilities
  • Administer advanced life support care on 911 emergency incidents and during transportation of patients.
  • Collaborate with emergency medical technicians, nurses, and physicians to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Operate medical equipment and vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Paramedic or PHRN in the Commonwealth of PA or eligible for and completion of reciprocity process, if certified in another state.
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 30 days of start date.
  • Valid Driver's license or eligible for a Commonwealth of PA driver's license if out of state.
  • PA DOH EMSVO certification within 30 days of start date.
  • HazMat Awareness Training and NIMS (100, 200, 700, 800) required within 30 days of start date.
  • Must obtain Medical Command within 90 days of start date.
