About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medsurg Nurse to join our team at Providence. As a Medsurg Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure informed decision-making

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current California Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire
  • 1 year of nursing experience
