Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Disaster Packing Assistant - Moving Helper to join our team at The Flood Guys in Kent, WA. As a key member of our disaster recovery team, you will play a critical role in safely moving and storing household items in our secure warehouse.


Compensation and Benefits

This entry-level position offers a competitive salary of $22-$27 per hour, depending on experience with annual performance increases. Additionally, we provide excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, a Roth IRA with a 3% match, paid time off (PTO), paid training, certifications, and paid holidays.


Job Responsibilities
  • Pack and move household items to our secure warehouse while clients' homes undergo restoration.
  • Maintain and clean the warehouse, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
  • Assist with minor carpentry and mechanical work as needed.
  • Create digital inventory lists of packed items.

Requirements
  • Valid Washington State driver's license and good driving record.
  • Willingness to work in environments with mold, dust, and/or smoke.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
