High-Paying Travel Nursing Opportunity for OR RNs in Olympia, Washington

We are seeking highly skilled Operating Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for a travel nursing assignment in Olympia, Washington.
This is a 13-week contract with a guaranteed pay package based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week. Our clients offer competitive rates, and our team will work to ensure you receive a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Job Description- Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients
- Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education to patients
Circulating OR Nurses will work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field, while Scrub OR Nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
Surgery responsibilities may include preparing instruments for specific procedures, monitoring and observing patients during surgery, and responding to potential complications alongside physicians.
Responsibilities- Provide basic bedside care
- Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment
- Serve as the communication liaison between patients' family members and operating team members
- Ensure correct procedures are being performed on the correct patient
- Initiate patient education plan as prescribed by physician, teaching patients and families how to manage medication and home care needs
Additional duties for Circulating OR Nurses may include responding to comfort and safety needs of patients, accurate care and handling of specimens, monitoring equipment used during surgery, and inventory of surgical items pre- and post-procedure.
Scrub OR Nurses may perform tasks such as selection and handling of surgical instruments and supplies during procedures, inventory of surgical items pre- and post-procedure, and assist physicians by delivering direct surgical care.
Requirements- BLS certification
- 2 years of experience as a circulating nurse, scrub nurse, or RN first assistant
