About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Procurement Leader to join our team at Levy Sector, a leading hospitality company in the Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our purchasing team, you will be responsible for driving supply chain process improvements, managing inventory, and overseeing purchasing activities at a specific unit/location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans to achieve business objectives and drive cost savings.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce lead times, and enhance product quality.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Manage inventory levels, optimize storage and rotation, and ensure compliance with company guidelines.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform purchasing decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain or purchasing, preferably in the hospitality industry.Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, purchasing best practices, and inventory control procedures.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and logistics.High level of computer literacy, with proficiency in MS Office and relevant supply chain software.
