Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Omni Hotels & Resorts. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience from check-in to check-out.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Check-in and Check-out: Process guest arrivals and departures according to our high standards of service and quality.
  • Guest Communication: Empathetically listen to guest inquiries and provide accurate and timely responses.
  • Account Management: Set up accurate accounts for each guest checking in, including room type, payment, and preferences.
  • Room Management: Block rooms in the computer, pre-register designated guests, and prepare key packets.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments and personnel.
  • Security and Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of all guests and hotel information, and ensure the security of guest room access.
  • Financial Management: Understand and execute all Omni accounting standards, ensuring accurate settlement of folios, routing of charges, and adjustments.
  • Guest History: Maintain accurate and up-to-date guest history files.
  • Problem Resolution: Document and resolve guest requests, complaints, or problems in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Clearly and pleasantly communicate with guests, management, and co-workers in English.
  • Technical Skills: Accurately and efficiently input information into computer systems.
  • Teamwork: Work cohesively with co-workers within and outside of your department.
  • Problem-Solving: Think clearly, quickly, and make concise decisions.
  • Time Management: Prioritize, organize, and follow up on tasks and responsibilities.
  • Adaptability: Work well under pressure, dealing with multiple arrivals and departures within a short period of time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Customer Service Experience: Proven experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Hotel Front Desk Experience: Previous experience in hotel front desk roles is strongly preferred.
  • Cashiering Experience: Previous experience in cashiering roles is preferred.
  • Foreign Language Skills: Fluency in a foreign language is preferred.
  • Guest Relations Training: Previous guest relations training is preferred.
