Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Weill Cornell Medicine. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting health education/promotion, electronic medical record (EMR) chart management, coordination of patient care, and clinical protocols.

About the Role
  • Assist physicians with patient care, health education/promotion, EMR chart management, coordination of patient care, and clinical protocols as needed.
  • Establish priorities for nursing care through patient assessment and develop nursing care plans.
  • Prepare equipment and assist providers during examination, testing, and treatment of patients as needed.
  • C coordinate multidisciplinary healthcare services and arrange diagnostic tests as ordered by physician(s) when needed.
  • Perform inpatient diagnostic testing, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in conjunction with physician as needed.
  • Triage patient inquiries and communicate test results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience.
  • Approximately 2 or more years of related work experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Extensive experience as a Registered Nurse may be considered in lieu of the BSN.
  • Must be articulate and possess a professional demeanor.
  • Current NY State Registered Nurse License & Registration.
  • BLS certification, issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Infection Control Certificate.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $108,000.00 - $118,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience, plus comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
