Job Summary:

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing, and promoting a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management, immunizations, and disease state management.
  • Ensure the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing, including verification and compounding.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and community partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmacy practices, laws, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to achieve business objectives and improve patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
