Join Our Team as a Compassionate Care Champion

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care of Richmond VA. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

About the Role

As a Caregiver, your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized care and support to our clients, including:

  • Providing companionship and conversation
  • Preparing and serving meals
  • Assisting with bathing and grooming
  • Light housekeeping and laundry
  • Shopping, errands, and transportation
  • Other duties as assigned

You will work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and preferences, and develop personalized care plans to meet their requirements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Personal Care Aide (PCA) or Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification
  • Previous caregiving experience (preferred)
  • A passion for caregiving and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others
  • Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect
  • Ability to carry out direction, both verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively manage the demands of the job

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, and must be able to prioritize tasks, manage your time effectively, and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
