Norman Regional Health System is a leading healthcare provider nestled in the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. Our innovative cardiovascular program is expanding, and we are seeking a skilled Registered Technologist to join our team.
State-of-the-Art Facility
We are excited to move into our new state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, featuring three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. Our team works closely with nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
- Equipment Preparation: Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure smooth operations.
- Patient Assessment and Care: Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care to meet their needs.
- Sterile Environment Maintenance: Establish and maintain a sterile environment to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.
- Professional Development: Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in orientation, and engage in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with best practices.
- Tasks and Responsibilities: Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks assigned by Charge person or manager.
- Collaboration and Communication: Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Cath Lab RT Orientation: Complete the Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months.
- Competencies: Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months.
- Education and Experience: Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, eligible and/or current RCIS, and previous procedural area experience preferred.
- Licensure and Certification: American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration, Registered and/or RCIS, and CV or CI certification preferred.
- Training and Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation, Current BLS required, ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment.

- Salary Range: $27.84-$45.46/hour based on previous work experience.
