Job Opportunity: American Family Dentistry is seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the success of our team.

About the Role: As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality oral health care services to our patients. You will work closely with our dental team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide thorough and gentle dental cleanings to patients of all ages
  • Conduct oral health screenings and provide personalized recommendations for improvement
  • Work collaboratively with our dental team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest oral health care techniques and technologies

Requirements:

  • Current dental hygienist license in Tennessee
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of clinical experience
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
