Job Summary
A Medical Specialist is needed for an Obstetrics and Hospitalist Physician role at a top-rated hospital in Fairfield County, Connecticut. This opportunity offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

About the Role
This position involves providing medical care to patients in various obstetrics and hospital settings. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include evaluating patient conditions, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to be board certified or truly board eligible, have an active state license, and possess excellent clinical skills. A strong background in obstetrics and hospital medicine is required, as well as experience working in similar environments. Additionally, you should be proficient in electronic medical records and have strong communication and teamwork skills.

Benefits and Compensation
This opportunity offers a highly competitive salary ranging from $169.75 to $183.75 per hour, depending on experience. AMN Healthcare provides medical or dental malpractice insurance, travel, lodging, rentals, and transportation arrangements. Our Physician Mobility initiative also enables locum tenens to work at facilities they are presented or have worked at within 6 months of completing their previous assignment.
