Job Summary:

Clinical Social Workers play a vital role in the California Correctional Health Care Services, providing crucial support to patients within correctional facilities. As a Dual Appointment Clinical Social Worker, you will have the opportunity to work in a part-time capacity, up to 44 hours per month, and contribute to the well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide clinical social work services to patients within correctional facilities
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop comprehensive care plans
- Facilitate successful reintegration into society through education, treatment, and support
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to established protocols and guidelines

Requirements:

- Possession of a valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science
- Experience working in a correctional setting or similar environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Salary and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $48.61 - $59.20 per hour, reflecting the importance of your role in delivering exceptional patient care.
