Responsibilities and Requirements- Provide therapy services to students with various disabilities, promoting their academic and personal growth.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided, adhering to industry standards.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of students' IEPs, ensuring their unique needs are addressed.
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Active Texas OT license, demonstrating expertise and commitment to the profession.
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred but not required, as training and support will be provided.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and students.
- Able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
