We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Bryan Health. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care that meets the psychosocial and physical needs of patients within the CNA's scope of practice.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, provide personal care, emotional support, and perform more complex clinical skills under the direction of a RN.
- Provide secretarial functions as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the unit.
- Perform patient care responsibilities considering the needs specific to the standard of care for patients of various ages.
- Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of patients, including pediatric, geriatric, and general patient populations.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Current CNA certification in the state of Nebraska.
- Current BLS certificate.
- One year of experience as a CNA in an acute care hospital preferred.
